Character creation for GTAO involves a fairly complex set of configuration options, which we are about to cover, but before we do that, there is the Red Elephant in the room to be addressed -- specifically the ability to have your character be descended from the Marston line from the Rockstar game Red Dead Redemption...
To select John Marston as your father all that you need to do is move down to the Father section and hit 'Y' to select Custom Dad. That will give you one and only one option -- to have John Marston be your dad. After that you need to make your selections for your paternal grandmother, and your maternal grandparents.
The next character element to assign is Lifestyle -- which will be presented as the default settings for the character you generated, but you can alter the settings. To do that you will need to take some of the time away from the default Activities that are already present.
There are seven different Lifestyle elements you can adjust:
You can have more than one character so don't try to make your first character able to do everything -- instead pick the actions that you feel appeal to the lifestyle that this character will follow, with an emphasis upon one type of work; legal or illegal.
The final main setting is the Appearance setting. You can change the following characteristics:
Once you have decided upon the settings you want, simply Save & Continue!
Once you select Save & Continue the starting CS plays, giving you an overview of the different Activities that you can participate in, from cars and driving to sports and then you get to see your plane landing at the airport. Welcome to the west coast mate!
Lamar is waiting for you in his hoopdie, and greets you at the arrivals door. He gives you a welcome gift -- a pistol that he says is untraceable. Lamar then gives you his version of the welcome tour, and you get driven through downtown to Vinewood, passing most of the bigger tourist sites.
Once you reach the parking lot -- which is the destination -- the character creation process is over and the Tutorial begins...
Multiple Characters
When you start out most of the character slots are locked -- you unlock those by gaining Levels in the game - which means obtaining lots of RP/XP and doing Missions, Jobs, and hobbies.
How can I unlock ??????
Rank 311, 50,000,000 dollars... no third slot. This guide was bullshit.
Ain't no body got time for that!!!!
My first character is on 168 and my second is on 130, yet I still cannot create a third, fourth or fifth character. So, I'm not sure the amount of RP determines whether you unlock the three remaining character slots or not. And I don't think Cash determines it either as I have earned just shy of $200,000,000 and I haven't unlocked the other characters.
guest you need them to be level 100
How high of a level on both characters is required to unlock the third
