"You may be a master of the arts but can you master the darts?"

Once you reach Level 6 for your character in GTAO you will unlock the sports -- including Darts -- and their Icons will appear in your game map.

The game of Darts is a sport in GTA and GTAO is no exception to that rule. If you are not familiar with it, the game that is played for Darts in GTAO is called "301" as that is the "score" you need to remove from the board.

To get you started, here are the rules for playing 301 Darts:

The black area outside the double ring is considered out of bounds and any dart thrown into it scores a big fat Zero.

The numbers 1 through 20 placed around the board are the values for darts hitting their respective fields (the open black and white sections -- not the narrow striped sections at the end and middle of each).

The red circle in the middle is called Bull's Eye and is worth 50 points.

The four green fields surround bulls eye are worth 25 points each.

The inner stripe is the triples stripe, and is worth three times the score for that number. For example the stripe in the middle of the 20 zone would be worth 60 points, it being three times the regular 20.

The outer stripes in each number zone are the doubles, and are worth double the value of their sector, so for example if you throw a dart into the outer stripe of the 20 sector, it is worth 40 points.

All players begin the game with 301 points (hence the name of the game being 301). The goal (and the only way to win) is to reduce the score to zero as quickly as you can.

The game is played in rounds, with each player throwing three darts one after the other, and the total points that these three darts add up to is deducted from the score at the end of the round.

The first player to reduce their score to an even number that is between 2 and 50 and then scores a double stripe for a number that exactly totals their score to zero points is the winner.

If a player ends up with a score of 1 or a negative score, they lose.

To win the game you MUST zero-out in a DOUBLE STRIPE. Zero out any other way and you lose.

There is nothing like a cold brew, some pub food and a good game of 301 Darts!

Dart Awards

Checking Out -- Win a game of Darts in a 6 dart checkout.

Checking out with a 6-Dart throw basically requires you to make one of two sets, these are:

  • Double 20

  • Triple 20

  • Triple 20

  • Triple 20

Or you need to throw:
