Mr. Handy

Mr. Handys are your friendly household robots that can perform several tasks. One is their ability to collect resources on the floor they're assigned. They will even continue collecting these resources even when you're not playing the game. You can only assign one Mr. Handy in one floor at a time. To maximize this feature, it's ideal to place him in a floor composed of entirely production rooms.

They can also help with putting out Fires, and fighting off pests and invaders. Mr. Handys have a life bar as well. There's no way to replenish their health bar so you'll have to wait for them to get destroyed and just repair them back to life for 2000 CAPS. They're pretty sturdy too so expect them to do their duty long enough before even needing to be repaired back. Mr. Handy can also be sent to the wasteland to collect caps. There will be no encounters and you can only send a limited number of Mr. Handys to the wasteland.

While Mr. Handy is definitely a very useful add-on to your vault, it can only be acquired by purchasing it with real money and so far, there's way in the game to acquire one.
