How to use Gifts

In the world of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot there are plenty of special items that you can find that are gift items. As long as you have their Soul Emblem these special items can be given to any character in your community. Each gift will typically raise a single community stat and some friendship, rare or unique gifts however can increase multiple community stats in a single go. The benefit of increasing the level of the community it that it will give you access to more unique bonuses and buffs. During the early game it is advised that you focus gifts on improving Community Leaders.

Follow the steps below to give a gift to any character in your community.

1) Press the Start/Pause button.

2) Navigate to the Community section.

3) Select the Soul Emblems option.

4) Choose any Soul Emblem and select 'Soul Emblem Details'.

5) This brings up a screen that lets you give gifts to that Soul Emblem.

How to Get More Gifts

Getting gifts in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is not difficult, the game liberally rewards you with them for completing chapters of battles in the main story. You can however always get more gifts if you need them by completing the side quests. These side activities are marked with blue exclamation points on your map and they are worth doing when they appear as they have a tendancy to reward unique gifts as well as Soul Emblems.
