Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Dragon Ball Guide

Dragon Balls are large, crystalline spheres that come in varying sizes and colours that feature five-pointed stars ranging from one to seven that also vary in sizes and colours. Individually Dragon Balls have no powers but united they have the ability to call forth their associated Eternal Dragon who can grant a single wish. Check out our Dragon Ball guide to find out everything you need to know about them in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

Each time you collect all 7 Dragon Balls in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot you wil be granted the chance to make a single wish. After you have made a wish, the Dragon Balls are again scattered around the world. A wish can be one of the following:

• Revive a Boss

Revive a boss to fight them again for their Soul Emblems.

• Z Orbs

Get more Z Orbs to unlock new abilities from the development tree.

• Zeni

Get 30,000 Zeni, the currency used in the game.

• Rare Item

Get a rare item.

After you have defeated Frieza in the main story you will be able to begin collecting Dragon Balls during the middle parts of story arcs before you battle the saga's bosses. By using the world map you can find out which areas have Dragon Balls by checking the orange ball which is situated at the lower left of the area icon. To then pinpoint the location of the Dragon Ball you need to use your Dragon Radar. After that it is a matter of going to the location by walking, swimming, or flying to collect it, this is done by walking up to a Dragon Ball and picking it up. The Dragon Radar will indicate how many Dragon Balls you require to complete all 7. Once you have collected all 7 Dragon Balls open the menu and select the 'Dragon Balls' option. Then select a wish you want granted and summon the dragon to grant your wish. You can do this every 20 minutes as using Dragon Balls have a cooldown after each use. You also have to collect all 7 Dragon Balls again to make a wish.

Check out out Soul Emblem Guide to find out everything you need to know about them in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
