Companion Guide for Plague Tale: Innocence

In a Plague Tale: Innocence Amicia and her young brother Hugo meet several characters on their venture who will accompany you during certain chapters and can help you progress in the game by getting you into inaccessible places. The following Companion Guide will tell you how you can use these friends to help you.

Hugo

Although Amicia's young brother will slow you down he does have his uses. Hugo is able to make his way through small holes and there will be instances during the game when doing so will enable him to open doors for you to get the items necessary to proceed. Basically whenever you are stuck in some place have a look around for a small hole and order Hugo through it.

Melie

Melie is a burgler who has the ability to pick locks. You will meet her at the end of Chapter V and during the stages she accompanies you there will be plenty of closed doors and chests you can order her to open.

Rodric

You will meet Rodric during a visit to the University. He has the ability to silently eliminate opponents and has high strength which enables him to pry open doors. Rodric is particularly useful when you need to silently kill enemies in highly protected places as he attracts less attention than Amicia's slingshot.

Lucas

Lucas is a young boy older than Hugo but younger than Amicia. Lucas shows Amicia How to Craft new projectiles like Ignifer and guides the two to the Chateau de'Omrage, a ruined fortress that was built to provide safe haven against the rats. Lucas has the ability to remain calm under stress, he is able to craft very complicated elixirs while be surrounded by ravenous hordes of rats.

Beatrice de Rune

Beatrice is a beautiful woman who is a French alchemist and noblewoman by marriage, she is the wife of Robert de Rune and mother of Amicia and Hugo.
