The College of Winterhold
The College of Winterhold is a College for mages in Skyrim and also a location in Winterhold. The College is similar to the Mages Guild in Oblivion and is also the base for the College of Winterhold questline. The College provides training in magic and also hosts multiple trainers in different classes of magic. It also has lectures time to time with information about different things.
The history of the College is reported to date back to the first era of Tamriel, however documents date it back 700 years. The College is also often blamed for the Great Collapse of Winterhold which cause most of the city to Collapse in to the ocean while the College remained untouched.
