Riften
Riften is a large city located in the southwestern part of Skyrim and is the capital of the Rift. It is infamous because of the thieves guild's large presence in the city. The city consists of 2 parts. The residential part which also hosts the keep is located above the ground and the second part which is host to the market and the piers is located above the water. It's main points of interest are the thieves guild and the ratway.
It plays host to the thieves guild questline and also is one of the cities negotiated over in the main questline.
