Main Quest (Act 1)

This page acts as a summary on the first act of the main quest, feel free to add in the individual quests below this level

The Main questline forms the backbone of the story, and comprises of multiple quests leading up to the defeat of Alduin, the main antagonist in the story.
The questline begins at the start of the game where the player escapes Alduin's attack on Helgen. The second quest is also started automatically as the player escapes helgen, in this quest the player must follow Hadvar/Ralof to Riverwood and meet with their respective contacts. After that the player is told to head to Whiterun to report the events of Helgen to the Jarl of Whiterun. After meeting the Jarl, the player is eventually directed towards Bleak Falls Barrow, and ancient nord tomb, to retrieve a ancient dragonstone to help the court wizard in his studies.
After bringing back the dragonstone of Bleak Falls Barrow word reaches you about a dragon attack on the Western Watchtower of Whiterun. You are told to go check the situation there and the player discovers the ruins of the watchtower. Shortly after a Dragon attacks an once killed the player absorbs its soul proving to be the a dragonborn. Soon after, the greybeards summon the Dragonborn to High Hrothgar to begin learning more about the Thu'um and the way of the voice. After beong confirmed as the dragonborn, the Greabeards send the player to retrive the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller. When retrieving the horn, the player discovers a note telling him/her to go to the inn in riverwood. That concludes the 1st act.
