I don't think you can divorce a sim, but you can marry more than one sim.

In Social mode Click 'Kick out' and a box will pop up saying 'We're not married anymore'

Welll you can divorce betty by kicking her out then she will say were not married anymore. But you can also marry nelson too while still being married to betty.
