raising skills by cheat

I heard on this site that you can add skill points to your sim by using the cheat "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" I figured out how to get the cheat to work but how do you raise skills with it. Please help me!

I think what you do is click on the one of the filled bars in the skill place and drag it over to the far right. All the empty bars will then fill in. Kind of like click and dragging the hunger and sleep bar and dragging it over to the right.

You can drag them up, but that doesn't always work for me.

I think you need to have entered "boolprop testing.." and then enter "move_objects on" for it to work like that.

mauie answered:

If you want your sim to have a memory of maxing all skills, let them study the skill first. While they are studying
Use the cheat boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true
Click on the skill and drag.

You have to go leave the family and go back to the town then go back on the family and it should work
(sorry it's late)

I had the same problem. I'm not sure if it's a glitch with the game or what, but here's how to make it work: open the cheat box, type in boolprop testingcheatsenabled true, hit enter and the cheat box will disappear, open the cheat box again, type move_objects on and hit enter, then go into the skills tab and shift+click on the level of skill that you want. For example, if you want to maximize the cooking skill shift+click on the highest bubble for the cooking skill. Now here's the glitch: sometimes you have to hold down shift and click a bunch of times before the bubbles fill in. A couple times it has taken me almost 20 clicks, but it always works eventually. Hope this helps!

Hey, I read about this problems in another site and a guy write a solution, with me, it work, so I want to share you about this

If you go to options and changes graphic settings such as resolution or transparency, the drags would start working. With me, I change the resolution from 800x600 to 1366x768 and it work perpectly
