I would rate it about a 7 it's a really good game but not the best PS2 game ever.

I think you should rent it first because that's what I usually do when I'm unsure about whether or not to buy a game.

This way you can decide for yourself if it's worth it as it is a matter of personal taste (some people would like it more then others)
