Sparkling increases your World Tournament Prize Winnings.
If you need to find out what an item does you can scroll to the item in question then push the square button on your paddle.
To see who can use that item use the directional control a tap to the right to see the back of the card.
"Sparking" only works in the World Martial Arts Tournament because if you win you get more money.
When you go to play a tournament and are about to pick your character, customize him first. Put in the highest "Sparking!!!!!" you got. And when you win you get more money.
P.S.
If you are playing the tournament in Advanced and you equip the highest "Sparking!!!!!!!" AND you win; you will get 250,000 Zenie.
