How do you get the ultima weapon?

ANSWERS

Some time after Defeating Ultimate Weapon, you can fly around in the Highwind to find him hovering over a giant lake in the Junon Area. If you run into him, you will engage in battle. when he is defeated, he will fly off. Follow him. Engage in battle a few more times(Have an Enemy Skill materia equipped, because you can learn Shadow Flare from it) and it will then fly over Cosmo Canyon. Engage in battle again. When you win, you will get Ultima Weapon and access to the Ancient Forest.

You need to defeat th Ultimate WEAPON.You will find him hovering over a lake near Junon.Initiate combat by flying into him with the Highwind.Usa materia only in this fight,the only physical attacks you should use are limit breaks,all the rest can't reach.After you've knowcked a few thousand HP off him he will flee.Follow him with the highwind and when he finds a location repeat as above.His favourite spots seem to be Midgar,Mideel,Nibelheim and the Northern Cave.When he heads to Cosmo Canyone prepare to face him for the last time because after this he will die creating a huge crater and enabling you to reach the Ancient Forest on foot.Good luck.
