What do I do if I accidentally sold my contain materia and don't have another one for final fantasy 7?

Unfortunatly there's nothing you can do. If you decide to restart don't forget that the contain materia is found in mideel, obtained from the white chocobo after scratching it behind the ear. Also you can only get it with mimett greens in your inventoryand only after mideel has been destroyed.

That is wrong
You can get the Contain Materia anytime you want in Mideel after you have obtained the Highwind Airship. Mideel does not have to be destroyed. All you have to do is have a Mimett Green on you and be able to communicate with the White Chocobo and trhen tickle it behind it's ears and you will have obtained the Contain Materia.
Mideel's destruction is not the trigger for obtaining it.
