Question for Final Fantasy VII

Hi , for those who know me I am usually on the side on FF8 and I completed the game recently and now I am playing ff7 but is there any wrong with my disc because it either keeps hanging on the battle scene or while trying to escape from battles? Can someone tell me the problem?

Maybe it's messed up like scratches or something if this happens and you hear a noice like-ER,ER.Then take out that disk and put another one that Looks better. And when it passes change it again.

The Final Fantasy VII disc's seem very sensitive. I used to have a problem when everytime it went to the battle screen, it would show the battle area, but no one was there

I had to buy a new copy of the game
