Right i'm getting really annoyed trying to breed a gold chocobo.
 
 I'm on disc 3 I got the good male chocobo and a greatF gave them both 25 of the 5000gil green from the sage raced the female to rank s and the male to rank A ( I just couldn't get him any higher). Then using a crabo nut I bred a green f and a blue m from them. I gave them the same amount of the same greens raced them both to S and breed a black F from them. I then got a wonderful M chocobo and raced them both to rank S as well.
 
 Now i'm trrying to breed these two to get the Gold chocobo but all i'm getting is a normal one or a black one and i'm using the zeio nut!

Try winning some Class S races. Always works for me. If that still fails, then the best thing to do is keep trying. Double check that you have a Black chocobo (which I would think you should know anyway, lol) and a Wonderful chocobo, and that you are using a Zeio Nut that can only be obtained by stealing it from a Goblin on Goblin Island. I had this trouble first time I did chocobo breeding, so you're not the first..

Dude, it's OK. I spent THREE MONTHS and about 100 hours trying to get a gold chocobo. And I did. Just follow their advice.

Dude, getting a gold chocobo is easy. Just beat ruby weapon and go talk to the guy in kalm town, then give him the desert rose. If you want more gold chocobos, breed the gold chocobo with a wonderful chocobo with a zeio nut.
