You get the desert rose from defeating ruby weapon, but watchout he is really hard to beat.

To get the desert rose you have to be on disc three and go to the desert area where the Gold saucer is. You can see a red thing coming out of the sand. Ram into it with the highwind and you will be in a battle with Ruby weapon. When you defeat this extremely tough monster you will win the Desert Rose.

On disc 3 you have to take the high wind or a green, black, or gold choccbo to the gold saucer you'll see a little red thing sticking out of the ground.

So now just ram into it it is the ruby weapon which has 1 MILLION HP then you can trade it in to a guy at calm for a gold choccbo but it can only run at a top of 29 :(

Ruby weapon doesnt have 1 million hp, its more or less 750,000 hp

I know its still loads but I'm just making a point!

You must defeat the Ruby WEAPON.

Whatever you do in this battle don't use Kinghts of the Round, because Ruby counter attacks with Ultima.

This battle is the hardest in the game.
