Find the underground train tracks. If you follow the tracks south you'll eventually find a save point and the W-Item materia. There's also some handy items along the way. Then go north. The three Turks, Reno, Rude and Elena, find you along the way north. You have the option to fight them this time. Either way, you don't kill any of them. Follow the passage until you come to two optional paths. To the left is the way to the cannon and to the right is the way to Shinra HQ. If you go to Shinra HQ you can pic up some handy items in the shop and on the 63rd and 64th floors. After that, exit and go to the cannon. On the way there you fight a huge machine called the Proud Clod that Scarlet and Heidegger are in and controlling it. Beat it, go up to the cannon (if Barrett is in your party you find his ultimate weapon, the Missing Score, on the way up, but only if he's in your party) and fight Hojo.
