Question for Final Fantasy VII

Hello, I have some questions on Final Fantasy VII;
1) What is the "Key to the Ancients" for? I found it in an underwater cave with my submarine.
2) I've played this game before, but a long time ago. I'm stuck and I don't know where to go - I have just finished the Huge Materia quest and Bugenhagen is on my ship.
3) Where is a good spot to find Great and Good chocobos? I can only find bad, average and one wonderful one.
If you can answer any of these, thanks! and get

1. You'll need it. Keep that in mind. You've obviously not yet reached the point where you return to the City of the Ancients where Aeris died.

2. Go to the City of the Ancients. The place where Aeris died.

3. Keep the Wonderful one. The Great ones are found in the Mideel area and the Good ones are found in the Gold Saucer area.

You'll need key of the ancients, when you return to the city, the place there Aeris died. If you've done the materia hunt and have Bugenhagen on the airship, you ca most likely go there now and use it. Take it to the temple in the city the entrance to where aeris died. Bugenhagen will talk to you, I can't remember if this the part where you have to leave him and return or not. After you've spoken to him he will tell you what to do. The key you have will unlock something. You can't complete the game util you done this.
