Final Fantasy VII Questions

I've just beaten Emerald and I found it hard. If I can barely beat him then how can I beat Ruby, so I guess I'm asking if anyone has any good ways to take him down.

Ruby weapon has much better armour than emerald but fortunatly has less hp(but not by very much though) the first thing to say about Ruby is that if you go in with a full party you will not be able to inflict any damage, and on top of that he will drag one or sometimes two(on different turns) characters into the sand, that leaves only one to battle with which you wont stand a chace of winnig with. The bet thing to do is go into batlle with two your character already KO'ed, then he wont drag anyone under the sand, soon he will bury his claws in the sand, NOW you can revive the other two characters, and damage him.

You'll have to fight both Ruby weapon and two tenticles behind you, i would advise going for Ruby weapons torso, clouds omnislash this time round is pretty much useless because of Ruby's defence, use KOTR and mime it, make sure you have pheonix and final atack paired on some one as well. hang in there and you should be able to bring in down, though honestly the prise for winning is really bad, you get the 'desert rose' which you can swop for a gold chocobo from the kalm traveller, his chocobo is rubbish, (or at least it was when i got it) hes slow he has virtually no stamina, and whats the point in having another gold chocobo if youve alredy got KOTR and a better gold chocobo? Well anyway the best thing about it is just to be able to say that you were able to eat him. {:( Oh well!

Full cure can be found in cosmo canyon in the general store, the way once was ropeed off but now it is down so run past that then at the back of the shop you will find it.

There is a trick you can do to get more items using W-item (you must have w-item for this to work other wise you just wast them) you need to have at least 2 of the item, so in this case Elixirs. Equip W-item then getinto a battle highlight elixirs then press o, o, o, x then repeat o,x over and over and your stock number will go up! Also now that you mentioned magic pots, I remember that it asks for elixirs if you give it something like 99 elixirs then it will give you back 99 megalixirs, which is handy!

Hint for Ruby:don't ever use K.O.T.R. as it makes Ruby use Ultima.Best have final attack combined with revive materia to make sure you never die.Use quadra magic and Bahamut Zero and mime to hit Ruby the most powerful way.

Full cure is in one of the huts in Cosmo Canyon.
For elixers all you need is two and a w-item materia.Select your first item and make your second an elixer.Then press X to cancel,then O again then X then O and on and on.You should realise that you get one more elixer each time you cancel.Keep doing this until you reach 99.

Thanks for answering my questions but sadly before I could get back on to see if any one had answered I had already beaten Ruby. I did it by equipping hp-mp Switch on every one and using final attack and revive on every one. Then all I had to do was use my W-summon with Nights of the Round. You were right it was a waste of time but at least out of all my friends i was the first wone to beat both Ruby and Emerald. So in you face Frank-E W.
