I need a very good strategy to defeat emerald weapon. I have 2 KOTR summons, lots of mimes, and all my guys are lv.99, and have full HP and MP, and I have lots of other good materia.

<BR>I would like it alot if someone gave me a realy good and fast way to beat it because I keep running out of time. And, is there anyway I can let one character summon KOTR more than 2 times?

ANSWERS

All you need is one K.O.T.R. and three mimes. Equip whoever you want with K.O.T.R. but give everyone one mime each. Use the character with K.O.T.R. attack and use it first then have the others mime it.Keep using mime to create an endless chain of K.O.T.R. until Emarald Weapon dies.

It worked for me. Also have Final Attack combined with Revive handy incase the Emarald Weapon uses it's ultimate attack which does 9999 damage to all your characters.

OK, the way to get rid of that pesky time limit is to obtain underwater materia. To get this go down to the underwater reacter. You will come to an underwater tunnel, you'll be able to see outside, so can see fish and dolphins swimming around, thats how you'll know your in the right room.

First equip "morph" materia on one of your characters then run around and get into a battle. Eventually you will face a monster called "ghost ship" (he is a small ship with a skeleton at the front holding a boat paddle) beat him up a bit untill his life is low enough to use morph on him. If you are successful you will obtain the underwater materia! now just equip that when you fight emerald and the time limit will be gone.

A good stratagy to beat emerald is to combine "final attack" with "pheonix", final attack and pheonix will rivive your party and pheonix will also damage the opponent. Equip someone with KOTR and the rest with mime. Also using lots of counter attack materias on your characters works well.

If im not mistaken you can only summon KOTR twice because pairing it with quadra magic doesnt work.

Get your hp to 9999 on every character and eqipt accesorys that improve magic power. you need 1 underwater, 1 knights of the round materia, 3 mimes, 1 w-summon and 1-3 hp absorbs. link hp absorb to knights of the round and and give everyone a mime. then w-summon knights of the round at the start of the battle and keep mimeing it might get a bit boring but thats how i did it

If you keep running out of time, go and morph the ghostship and give the guidebook to the kalm traveler to get underwater materia, it elimates the timer.
