I have this key called the key of the aincents. Is this the key that I was supposed to get from the underwater cave? If it is, when I talk to Bugenhagen he still says I need to get the key. Where do I go after this?

You need to go to the Forgotten City. Head either left or right but make sure you enter the cave (sort of). Bugenhagen says that he will put the key in. Then it is pretty starightforward.

I dont think you actually need to talk to him, you need to insert the key in to a strange shaped rock on the other side of the room. Now after you have done that, follow Bugenhagen into the center of the room through the water fountain rock thing and you should be able to continue with the game.

You might also want to equip your party in advance because you are about to face a relatively tough boss battle. (Hes not that bad, I found it easy. But I've heard people complain how hard it was so I'm just giving you a heads up)
