Maybe there's something wrong with my game...

My playstation sucks so I can't use it anymore but it always worked perfectly before, but when I try to play FF7, it won't save right, and I really cannot figure out how or if I can fix it. I go and try and save and it says that a file has been saved and everything looks normal but then when I restart the game and try to continue, no files appear to be in use. Then, I thought maybe it would work if I could play it on my PC, but the same thing happened. I don't know what to do, and I've looked it up and stuff but there are only a couple other cases like mine so maybe there's just something wrong with my game? Or maybe I'm just being stupid. I wish someone could help me!

I'm sorry but I'm not really sure why that happened have you tried a different game to see if the same thing happens if it does then it could be the playstation or even the memory card so try switching that too. If the same thing doesn't happen then it could be the game.
