How do I get vincent in my party

ANSWERS

To get Vincent in you party you need to open the safe inside the Shinra mansion the numbers for the combination of the safe are located around the mansion. The clues where to find the numbers are in the room on the left side of the mansion on the 1st floor when you enter. Here are the locations for the 4 numbers after reading each clue.
1. The small circle room with the plants open the chest then press x again.(R36)
2. The floor near the piano.(L10)
3. Go up the stairs and go right just around the corner on the left wall.(R59)
4. When selecting which clue to read there will be a hidden option below the rest.(R97)
After you open the safe beat the boss get the basement key and the odin materia then go down to the basement and open the locked door open the casket when Vincent comes out you will have an option on what to say.
Choose to talk about Sephiroth when the casket closes open it again and ask who he is then leave he will come after you and join your party.

You haf to find all the combinations for the safe in the mansion this took me a long time to after you put them in the right way you haf to fight some monster you beat him you get materia odin I think and you get the key then you go down stairs to celler thing and open door blah blah talk about seperoth then open it again don't just walk away empty handedand ask him to join u

It's actually simple to figure out how, but it's hard to actually DO it. First of all, you can only do it when you are in Shinra Mansion, not during the Flashback. You have to find out the combination for the safe on the second floor. The combination isn't random, it's the same in all games, so I can tell you it. Right 36

Left 10

Right 59

Right 97

And you can't go past the numbers while entering them. This seems hard, but there's an even harder part up next. You have to battle something called LOST NUMBER. When and if you defeat him, you get RedXIII's final Limit Break. He also drops the Basement Key, which you need to get Vincent. He also drops a Materia. You then go to the basement. You know that room with coffins? Go in there. Talk to the coffin in the middle. The top flies out and out comes Vincent! He talks briefly and goes back into his coffin. The lid flies back onto the coffin. Talk to him again. He talks breifly about Lucrecia. Then he goes back into his coffin, not coming out again. But after you talk to Sephiroth, as you leave, Vincent joins your team. :D
