Sometimes my sims won't appear, what do I do to get them back?

I had the same problem and could only see the marriage ring and the green thing over their head. What I did to fix it was I sent them on a drive in a car and when they come back I was able to see them again!

Well I'm not sure if I can help you out pal If you were more specific it could be a lot of easier.I had something like that but I'm not sure if it is the same thing.Well I hope it will help you.In my case I tried to avoid bills by deleting the mailbox and the trashcan(it worked and there was no repo man coming and taking my stuff but now I regret deleting it).So one day I added a few roomates to my house but only the previous owners appeared Then I took a look in the relationships,in the household button and I saw that the game considered that the new roomates existed in my house but I couldn't use them so I entered to the house of a friend of my sims(which I could use)and I used the phone, I click on my sim and I invited her over then I proposed her to move in with the rest of the family and I could use the whole household and then I moved them out to the sim bin and then to their previous lot but after that I couldn't use the whole family because there wasn't a Live mode button.So in this case the easiest thing to do is exit to the neighbourhoud go to the families button and click on the 'move family' button and they will appera on the family bin and the n you can move them to the house of your want( except of your previous lot)
