It has been a while since I played my sims game and I have been downloading mods, but it never affected my game before. A couple days ago I decided to play my game again and a blank warning box popped up before I could get to the menu where you hit the 'play' button. Since nothing was coming up I just hit the okay button on the warning box. Once I started up my game I saw that all my neighborhoods were gone, so I thought I would just reinstall my games and it would work fine.
Date of Question: Apr 27th 2011 | Question ID: 195337<BR>I have Sims2 Double Deluxe, University Life Collection, Apartment Life Expansion Pack, and Fun with Pets Collection. Everything installed correctly (I thought) but when I put in my Fun with Pets CD an error popped up that said "you are running the wrong version of the Sims 2. Please insert Sims 2 Fun with Pets instead". So I tried to uninstall and reinstall again, when the same thing popped up I just decided to play without the Pets Pack, but the screen then popped up to any of my other Expansion packs! I even uninstalled all my games other than my Double Deluxe, but the same screen popped up saying "you are running the wrong Sims 2 game. Please insert the Sims 2 Double Deluxe". Can anybody help me?
<BR>And another thing, When the titles show on my computer instead of saying "Sims: 2 Double Deluxe" it uses a question mark like, "Sims? 2 Double Deluxe"
