I've tried the Ctrl+Shift+C for my laptop.. Via vista and nothing happens. Not even holding Ctrl+Shift then pressing C works.. What do I do?????

Get rid of Windows Vista, I hate that operating system. I've heard it said that Vista has Ctrl+shift+c reserved for some other function, I haven't heard of a way around it. I'd call Microsoft and complain, maybe they'll send you a copy of Windows XP. Alot of software and games aren't even compatible with Vista yet.

I use windows vista too but the cheat window works for me.
It may be another program on your laptop that has those hot keys reserved.
Sims2 is Vista compatible too so it should be working.
