I lost the case for the game and I wanted to put the game on my laptop. I need the registration code but I don't have it.

Depending on which country you're living in, you might be able to send a request for a replacement serial number by emailing the manufacturers and explaining to them your problem, or by posting your above question to: www.thesims2.com
Unfortunately there isn’t an easy way out, each pc game comes with it's unique registration code that can only be used with the game you get in the box cover, so they usually ask you to fax through a copy of the back of your game to them and then send you your code again, but in your case you’ve lost the cover.. Best thing you could do is to email them and ask for their advise.. Hope I helped out a bit.. Steff

This happened to me with one of my other games. If you've already registered it then your fine. If not well, it impossible until you find it.

You are going to have to buy a new game.. The registration codes are made for each game and so you cannot use any other code. Losing the cover is something that messes up everything. Sorry about that..
