The Genie in the Lamp comes after your sim has had the highest amount of "experience" or whatever in a hobby. They have to like it too, well it makes it easier if they like it.

A robot, you mean like MunchiBots and Servos? You have to make them on the robotic bench thing. Or in the cheat box(ctrl+shift+c) type boolprop testingcheatsenabled true and shift+click on you're sim and under spawn..., more..., there should be a choice "servo". It will spawn a servo but TURN THE CHEAT OFF when you're done!! It's case sensitive and can really mess up your game! (boolprop testingcheatsenabled false)
