How do you change a sim from one age too the next?

Date of Question: May 14 2008 | Question ID: 117912 I have heard on this site that you can change a sims age but I don't know how. I would love it if someone would tell me.
Comment:(May 16 2008) I figured it out! Select the sim that you want to age and then enter crtl-shift-c to open up the cheats menu, then you type in boolProp Testingcheatsenabled true. then shift-click on your sim and select spawn and then tombstone of L&D. Then you click on the tombstone and select age cinemactic!

Look I have some new updates try to write to the cheats age(example:teen)i am not deffinately sure about this but give it a try!!!:) answer me when you have any news about your problem because I am currious to know!!!

Look as a fun of Sims2 I can help by telling you this!!! You can't change a Sims age but you can stop the aging by presing ctrl+Shift+c and right aging On/Off I am afraid that you can't change a sims age but I will check it out and if there is any new update I will inform you!!! I play Sims too so I will check it out for you

I think you just have to let them grow up on their own. I've heard about that cheat too but I don't know it. Sorry!

Nope their all wrong all you have to do is press ctrl+Shift+c and then type "AgeSimsCheat on/off" and then click on the sim you want to age and there should be an option that says "set age" and then you choose... That's all =)

There is a way to change the age of you're sim before you go on the family bring the cheat bar up (ctrl + shift c) then you type in boolprop testingcheatsenabled on then click on the family.click on a sim while holding down shift look for spawn then click more there should be an opition that says sim modder click that then a baby should appear click on that. It should then have a opition saying set age then it should say all other or me (sims name) click on any of them (make sure you choose the right sim) then click on toddler,child,teen,adult or elder then your sim should turn into he age you want. Hope this works for you =]
