Unsure of cheat

Date of Question: Apr 30 2008 | Question ID: 116824 Heya, Have been reading nearly all the questions on this Q&A section and keep hearing about this boolprop testingCheatsEnabled true cheat.
It sounds like fun and enables you to do lots of stuff but have also read lots of things that go wrong with the game once this cheat has been used!
Can someone please advise me as to wether it's a good idea to use this cheat or not! Many thanks in advance! :)

Ok, me personally I thought the same, Oh great what fun. But as soon as I switched it on, used it and switched it back off again I got errors. Use it by all means if you want to, but make a copy of your save files. You can do this in windows. Only then try it because if it does mess your game you can go back to the back up saves.
Personally id say don't bother using it.

I have really never had a problem with it myself. The one you typed in looks like the one they use to get new clothing and styles in my game and I have never had a problem with that cheat. Although every now and then it may not let a family go into a lot, but nothing serius.

I use it a lot and have no problems. Its a cool cheat and sometimes does weird stuff but I say you should use it. Hope this helps.
