How do I actually use custom content that I've downloaded off of the internet. I went to my game and it asked if I wanted to enable it and I said yes and shut down my computer, but when I went back to look for my stuff, it wasn't there. Where is it and how do I use it?

Try going to the sime body shop, it might be in their and you can then transfer what you got to the game. The body shop should be somewhere in your computer, try looking in sim related places and folders to find it.

You don't need to shut down your computer. Make sure that it is saved in the dowloads folder under the sims 2. And I really do not sugest getting dowloads anywhere but www.thesims2.ea.com

You don't need to restart your computer. The custom content thing doesn't show up for me either but my game was a little messed up anyway. Strangely though the stuff I made in Home Crafter or whatever was in the game. I wouldn't get downloads anywhere except www.thesims2.ea.com either.
