1ST qestion: How do you get the grow bar to go back to it's original empty bar instead of it's full one. 2ND question: How do you get your child to improve his/her grades to A+?? HELP>.< thanks
I have read the pending answers. Regarding the 2nd question: I have done everything.. Making them have platinum mood,when they do their homework they are in their best mood. None works. I even tried to get their parents to help with homework doesnt work. And I realise there is sort of a cheat whereby you ctrl click mailbox, there will be a choice that says kid get an A+. Anyway,. I did that and it doesn't work. Soo got other choice? I tried with 2 families (or rather quite alot, in different neighbourhoods) all doesn't work..

To get the grow bar to go back to empty. You can have them drink the Elixer of life, found under aspiration rewards. Only drink this when aspiration is full. If you don't have enough aspiration points, use cheat aspirationLevel 1000. Cheat only works if you have the right expansion pack.
Now, for the bad report card: make sure aging is set to on. Open cheat console and type aging on then press enter. Then send the kids to school. When they return, their grades will improve slightly every time.
