Technically, you can't, but with Family Fun Stuff, you can make your child sim dress up as a mermaid. Only the girls can (obvious reasons)

no, you can but you have to download it from a site, i can across it once but i cant remember the name-point- you can. they can walk and talk and do all the things other sims do but sleep in water.

You need to download the costume. You can do it from www.sims2.com but you need to be a member of EA if you want do download from the website. But you also can download a female mermaid costume of XM sims

Become a scientist. Make a potion. Add your DNA and a fish's DNA. Take the potion and you are a mermaid!!!

Umm Go To sims 2.com and download a mermaid u can pretty much download everything there clothes hair skin I mean everything!

You can also go to Modtheseims.com and find all kinds of stuff to download there, and you can get a mermaid outfit and everything! I got all of the mermaids from The Little Mermaid! But they act like normal sims, its just like having a costume!

on the site thesims2.ea.com i tried to find mermaid and i did it,but i cant login.iwe tipped my email and password but it doesnt work....what to do???i relly want mermaid in the sims 2......

u can get fish DNA you need to go fishing then u have it (The Sims 2 fun with pets collection) once u have it then u can make the potion

I know you need fish DNA and sim's DNA I have a witch who is a mad scientist but I still can't make the potion.Also how do you mix them together.I also tried the way where you put a fish tank near the window,with fish in it by water but I never seen a mermaid and I waited for 2 WEEKS!!!!

It is possible to becomae a mermaid what you have to do is if you unlock all your career rewards you can add you're sims dna to the medicine and you can make you're self a mermaid

If you want to add your DNA to a fish, you have to unlock your career awards, I suggest using the cheat "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" without the " and shift click on your sim, click spawn, find the sim modder, a baby. And click it, DO NOT shift click it, and find career awards, and continue. I think thats what you have to do.

There is no real cheat for a mermaid in the game, but you can download it off sites or get the family fun pack and there is a mermaid costume in there, for kids.

Make your sim into a scientist make your sim make a potion add sims dna and fish dna,drink it and voila you have a mermaid! X

Actually you can! Have your sim go to a pool or the beach. Make them sit for a long time and read. Then, After their done sitting a while, they automatically fall into the water then they get out and tranform :D Hope this helped.
