Hi just wondering if you can help me I am half way through playing the game and I think I have made a really big mistake and don,t know how to get out of it please help me as I don,t want to start again.i am in the forest temple I have defeated the first 2 poe sisters and have come to a room in the basement the spinning room and there is a swith covered in ice and I do not have the din,s fire or fire arrows so is there any other way of activating switch or as it still possible to get din,s fire if so how and where?also I have not gotten the scarecrow song either if I can get through this section I will learn how to become young again then I can get the scarecrow song I hope you can help me thanks.

Ok I think I might know what room you are in. If there is a switch covered in ice look around the room and see if there are any torches or any other signs of fire around. Most likely what you will need to do is position yourself so that you can shoot an arrow through a lit flame and it will catch fire on whatever the arrow hits. Second, DIN can be gotten any time in the game so don't worry about is it possible anymore. Except you need to transform back into a child to get it so after you are a child again so back to the castle and where you had to walk to get past the guards. After you get through the gate (whether you pay to get through or use the vines and climb over) just keep walking straight and you will get to a dead end and a little hole. Crawl through that hole and inside go up to where you see the triforce symbol on the ground in front of the fountain and play zeldas lullaby. As for the scarecrow song that is done at Lake Hylia. In that room, you spin around a Torch - it's in the middle, you need to shoot an Arrow through the fire to hit the Eye!

Scarecrow's Song: Head to Lake Hylia as a Kid and play a song to the Scarecrow closest to the water - something easy like C-up, C-right, C-up, C-right, C-up, C-right, C-up, C-right, then play it to the other Scarecrow, lastly, go back to Lake Hylia as an Adult and play the same song to the Scarecrow to learn this song.

Ok, you don't need the fire arrows or Din's Fire for this : ] While standing on the spinning pillar, stand behind the tourch and use your bow & arrows and aim for the ice covered switch. When you release the arrow, it should go through the fire and hit the switch, it may take a couple tries to get in the right position but you should get it : ] To find Din's Fire, as a child go to the path in front of the castle where there is a huge gate blocking the way, get across by climbing the vines and jump down, then instead of sneaking up to the castle you need to go the opposite way to a dead end where a huge rock is. Use a bomb to blow up the rock and go inside to get Din's Fire. As for the Fire arrows, you'll get those when you finish the Water Temple. Oh, and there is no Scarecrow song, if you want to become a child again you need to go to the Temple of Time and place your Master Sword back in the pedistel, and when you want to become an adult again take the sword out.
