Who ever told you there was a golden saddle is a lier. I have had this game 100% beaten for the past nine years. There is no golden saddle.

There is a Golden Scale and there are Golden Gauntlets in this game, but no Golden Saddle. Get the Golden Scale by catching a 15 pound fish in the Fishing Pond (from Lake Hylia) as an Adult - it's near the center of the Pond where the tree branch is sticking out of the water. Get the Golden Gauntlets from the Shadow Room of Ganon's Castle as an Adult - this is near the very end of the game.

If you are talking about the saddle that is on the other horses. Like when you ride the horse at the ranch then sorry you can't actually get that saddle. The only saddle you can get is the one that comes on epona when you win her from ingo.
