To get the red shirt you could eiter buy it from the Goron Store as a kid. (need adult wallet or giant wallet 200 rupies) or when you are big go to Goron city. On the third floor there will be a little Goron rolling around. Stand neer the enterance to the goron's store that gives you the giant sword (rip off) and shoot the bomb when the goron is passing. Then talk to him.
