Question for Zelda 64: Ocarina of Time

Ok I beat the giant octo that chases you around but all I heard was "An octopus?!"
From Princess Ruto and now that I beat him I can't find her?What should I do or where should I look?

After killing him jump on the elevator he rode down on and it will take you up. Jump onto the next polatform and it will go down. Grab a box thing from the other side of the room. And put it on the blue switch. Just keep continuing.

As soon as Ruto takes her "most precious belonging" back, you won't see her until after defeating Barinade (the boss of Jabu-Jabu's belly). Just keep going =)

You have to defeat the octopus then a elevator will open up you ride it up and then go to the door in that room. It will lead you onto a second floor and you will stand on a platform that will fall down and will allow you to get to a door that is locked you take a box from the room and put it on the pressure plate and then you go into the room when you go in there will be a giant wall that you can climb. Climb up the wall there is a barrier that blocks you from sending anything that way you throw the boomerang around the barrier and it will curve and hit a switch that will open a door to a boss fight. Use the boomerang to kill the boss and then you will find Ruto
