Zelda 64: Ocarina of Time Questions

I've just finished the forest temple and now I can turn back to a child anytime I want.......the problem is my fairy keeps saying there is something strange about death mountain and sheik.

<BR>I need to power myself even more so I am thinking I have to get to the top of death mountain and find the fairy to power me up, but I don't know how to get past the lava part.
<BR>
<BR>Someone said you need the biggaton hammer to get past, if so can someone tell me where to get that
<BR>
<BR>I also need help getting the zoras tunic and the other tunic(that protects you from fire damage).
<BR>
<BR>I have tried turning myself into a child and buying the tunics but it says i can't get them now
<BR>
<BR>The other thing that is a mystery to me is in Lake Hylia when you run across the 2 bridges then this thing that says when the sun rises aim for the morning light, or somthing like that but I don't know what that means or what to do...

<BR>Another thing I have to ask is in that lakeside labratory next to Lake Hylia the lady there says she's trying to make a medicine.
<BR>
<BR>When you dive she tells you how far down you dived I need to find out what medicine I have to get, and she also says the old granny at the potion shop in kakariko village.
<BR>
<BR>Is like a sister to her, which leads me to my last question,what do you have to do or give to that old lady for her to do you some medicine.
<BR>
<BR>I am leaving to go on holiday tomorrow for 3 weeks and I know there are alot of veterans at this game who have completed this game on numerous occasions.

<BR>So when I get back I expect alot of answers for all these questions I have asked.

Okay, the way only way you can get through Death Mountain Crater alive is by wearing the fire tunic. You get this when you're an adult.

There's that little goron guy rolling around and around, right? Okay, you take a bomb, and put it in his path and make sure he runs over it.

After he does, go up and talk to him. He'll tell you about the Goron's plight, and afterwards he'll open up the shop and you can go and get the fire tunic.

Yeah, then you go to Darunia room, and you pull back the statue at the back of the room, and then you should be able to get to the Fire Temple.

You don't get the Megaton Hammer until you're inside of the Fire Temple. If you want the Water Tunic then you need to go to Zora's Domain. Everyone there will be frozen, and the King of the Zoras will be frozen in red ice.

Okay, you know how he scooted over to allow you into the place with Jabu Jabu? Okay, go through there again. Jabu Jabu is gone, but there are a bunch of chunks of ice floating around.

Hop from chunk to chunk until you get to this opening in the wall, leading to the Ice Cavern. There's a bunch of blue flames throughout the cavern. You need to use these to get to the end, but make sure you save one for later.

Go through the cavern and find Shiek. He'll give you a new song, and you'll get the iron boots, which allow you to sink to the bottom of lakes, but you can't breathe under water until you get the Water Tunic, obviously.

So then, take the extra blue fire and pour it next to the frozen king. The red ice will melt, and he'll tell you to go save his daughter, and then he'll give you the Water Tunic.

Okay, to do the aim for the morning light thing, what you do is you shoot an arrow into the rising sun. It will drop down a fire arrow onto a platform across the lake, but you can't get to it until you beat the water temple, because, until then, the water has been drained from Lake Hylia.

The stuff with the old ladies is about how you get the unbreakable Giant's Knife. You start out by talking to the Cucco lady, and she'll give you an unhappy pocket Cucco. You use that to wake up Talon, and then you take the Cucco back to the Cucco lady.

She is happy because the Cucco is happy, so she gives you her brother's old chicken. You want to give the Cucco back to him, so you go to the lost woods, and you go the way that does not lead you to the Forest Temple.

You give him the Cucco, and he gives you mushrooms, which he tells you to give to the old woman in Kakariko Village. You know the potion shop, where you find the fairies, ghosts, bugs, fish, and other items. Okay, there is a door next to the counter.

Go through there and up a ladder to find the old woman's house. You have to get the mushrooms there before they spoil, so run quickly! When you give her the mushrooms, the old granny makes a potion and tells you to give it to the guy who sent you with the mushrooms.

You go back, but the guy's not there. Instead there's a little Kokiri. Give her the medicine, and she gives you a saw. Give that to the carpenter at Gerudo Fortress. He'll give you the broken Giant's Knife.

When you get that you go to the top of Death Mountain, and you talk to the Giant Goron. He says he'll fix the sword if you get him some eyedrops, and then he gives you his perscription. You take that to King Zora.

He gives you an eyeball frog, which you have to take as fast as you possibly can to the old lady at the laboratory by the lake. She makes it into eyedrops which you have to take as fast as you can to the Giant Goron.

He takes them and then gives you this receipt thing, and you have to wait a couple of days, and then he gives you a Giant's Knife, which is an enormous sword that deals out heavy damage to your enemies.

Also, when you are taking the timed things to people, you can't warp, or it will spoil, you have to run all the way there. It really, REALLY helps to have Epona, she makes it so much easier.

The thing about Shiek is just you need to go to the forest temple. In order to do so go to Goron City and stop the little rolling goron with the bomb. He will give you red tunic.

With the tunic go into the Darunias room and pull back the statue. navigate to the top and you can find the fairy froom there.

First its the meggaton hammer. You get it in the fire temple.
It means play the suns song 2 times then shoot the sun with your arrow and you will get the fire arrow to get the Zoras tunic go to the ice cavern and get some blue fire. unfreeze the King Zora and he will give it to you.
