How do you get the hookshot and where??

ANSWERS

No you get the Longshot which is a longer Hookshot in the Water Temple. You get the Hookshot by beating Dampe's challenge in his grave as an adult. His grave is on the left hand column with flowers in front of it.

Go to the graveyard in the village to get to Death Mountain(sorry I don't have to exact name).Go to the back of the graveyard and pull a gravestone out of place and drop the hole in it's place.You will be challenged to a race by the dead gravekeeper,Dampe.Win the race and he will give you the hookshot.Watch out he throws fire at you.

When you are a adult go to the grave site behind Kakariko village and move the gravekeepers grave and drop down the hole his spirit will race you, if you win he will give you the hookshot.

If you don't have the hookshot I'd like to know how you are at the water temple. Go to Kakariko graveyard as an adult. Turn left and find a grave with some flowers.

Pull it back and go in the hole. Talk to dampe, race him, win and hell give you the hookshot. You get the longshot at the water temple, but that takes about three pages to explain.

(adult) pull back a grave and see the grave keepers ghost talk to him and he will race you beat him (might take 2-3 shots but beat him and get his prize posesion the hookshot)
