Firstly, I would like to know how to locate the forest temple, I've been having difficulties locating it.
 
 Also, I have forgotten what I played to the scarecrow, is it necessary for me to know that in order to beat (or get into) the forest temple?
 
 If so what should i do??

ANSWERS

The Forest Temple is found at the back of the Sacred Forest Meadow after the Lost Woods (you should know how to get there)...

You'll need the Hookshot to enter the Forest Temple which you can get from beating Dampe the Gravekeeper in a race in the Graveyard from Kakariko Village...

You don't need the Scarecrow's Song at all to beat the game but you'll need it if you wanna get all of the Heart Pieces!!!

The forest temple is located in the Sacred forest meadow where you went to meet Saria as a kid. You need to use your hookshot to lock onto the branch above the temple and swing yourself up. Then you are right in front of the entrance.

To get to the forest temple go to the edge of the lost woods in Kokiri village. Enter them, turn right, left, right,left, foward right left right.

Then you go through the maze by killing the monsters up the stairs and dodge the big monsters earthquaking blows to the ground and then your there, although you need the hookshot to be able to enter the temple.

The forest temple is in the same place you learnt Saria's song and you don't need the scarcrows song to get into it.
