I am in the Shadow Temple and cannot beat the main monster.
 
 Does wearing your iron boots help, as I keep bouncing on the drum and this is making it difficult for me to shoot the monster.
 
 And how do you get the sinking lure and the golden scale in Lake Hylia?

ANSWERS

To defeat Bongo Bongo is quite easy. All you have to do is z target one of his hands and shoot it with an arrow and it will become paralysed, then do the same with the other hand. Once both are paralysed use your lens of truth to see his head and z target his eye, shoot it with an arrow and he will fall to the ground.Then run up to him and start slashing with your sword. Repeat this a few times.

To get the gold scale go fishing when you are an adult and catch a reall big fish then let the man wiegh it then you get the gold scale. Also if you go fishing when you are young catch the biggest fish and you will get a piece of heart.

Well if you go on the edge of the drum it won't bounce you. Get the golden scale in the fishing pond by catching the biggest fish. The sinking lure can be on the log or other places.

Where your hover boots activate the lens of truth and Z target the hands and shoot them with your Fairy Bow, the head falls down once you shoot both hands now run up and attack its head with your sword.

Repeat till destroyed

You want to stay on the edge of the drum. That way you will not be bounced around very much. Shoots its hands with arrows.
To get the Sinking Lure and Golden Scale catch a 'lunker'fish in the Fishing Pond.
