My goal is to have 3 sims speculate between 9am and 12pm. I have the 3 sims in the same house and it's now 9:12am. What should I do? Help!

I have the same goal. You have to have them sit on the small single sweater sofa chairs. You can speculate for 4 mins. Get 3 of them to do this and you should get you LP

You need three armchairs, click on armchair, options will be ponder, speculate or reflect

Have three living room chairs, touch each of the chairs and then tap speculate.

You need 3 single living room chairs, 3sims can then sit and speculate together

You put 3 ARMCHAIRS in one room, then click on the chair and 3 options will pop up: ponder, reflect, and speculate. Click on the on the speculate bubble, then repeat with the other 2 chairs. They will be done in about 5 minutes or so, and voila, you have 2 LP!

Click on a single couch , there will be a speculate option. I use 3 single couchs for 3 person

They can "speculate" by sitting in the chairs in the Activity Center - where they learn karate and ballet.

Maybe you should get a bookshelf. Tap on the bookshelf then theres a choice on what to read. Choose encyclopedia then read!

Like everyone else said: just buy a bookcase ( it can be a cheap one) and get an adult sim ,click on the bookcase and one of the options will be to read an encyclopaedia ,the time it takes to read depends on the price of the object ,I have the modern bookcase and it took me 30mins but yours may take longer/quicker. 30mins later and voila! Your goal should be complete and you should earn xp lp or simoleons! YAY!
