I have added a new sims but every time I clicked the house, I am always at the create new sims tab. I have built a house on the complete selected site for the new sims. But because the new sims wasn't recognized or update by the system due to bug or glitch. I have to keep create new sims inorder to enter the new house. I am unable to delete the new sims because the system said he has tutorials to finish. The sims tracker didn't update this new sins too. Please help cos I can't build anything if I don't have enough sims. Ty

Hello, I am in the same boat... I actually bought a second Sim/House and the same thing is happening again. I have about 18 Sims on the first lot and stopped at 3 on the second! At first it was fun... I set up a "work farm" and had a dozen or so sims farming and baking - but I was hoping I could figure out a way to undo it.. or that the new / latest Sim /House would work properly - alas, it's doing the same thing. Neither of the two most recent Sim additions is being recognized by the game despite the fact that I can add money with them. Oddly, each time I go to those two houses, another sim is added but not recognized. So weird! I am getting tired of this and only hung in as long as this because I have lots of houses, Sims and stuff - including three married couples and two babies. I have spent real money as well. None of this was a problem before the babies. Is there a Fix for this EA? I will be out some real cash money and I am NOT happy. My daughter has Sims 3 and lots of packs and extras including Showtime. I was considering the purchase of the "real" sims, but am having second thoughts because of this problem. Can you upload a patch to iTunes to fix without loss of content (other than the "bogus" sims, I mean)? Thanks.

I have the same problem. Added a Geek house at level 16 Ii think). added a sim, but the icon in the city map still shows add a sim icon. Each time i try to enter the house, i must add a new sim. These sims also don't add to the total number of sims in my city.

Sim tracker does not recognize all the sims in the Geek house. The sims in the geek house can interact, but can't go to work or visit another house.

after that, I was able to add a sim to an existing empty house. I have not tried to add another house yet.

I "fixed" this by starting a new game. If you have backup save data on the cloud, you could "revert" to that version. In either case, delete the app and re-install, start from save data if you have it.

You may also try the standard troubleshooting-- reset your iPad/iPhone. Turn it completely off , then retry. etc. None of those things helped for me.

I fixed this problem but only after adding 22 sims!
Basically you need to delete everything in the offending plot. Walls, trees, gardening plots. Then you have a house you can use but you get to keep all the new Sims you created "for free".
I'm guessing only one of the objects is creating the bug but this is a definite fix.

Thie same thing happened to me at level 22.

I played around with the one of the rooms. First I tried making it bigger. When I noticed that it wasn't working, eventhough there is nothing blocking it and I am doing it within the grids, I tried making it smaller, this it was allowing me to do. After this. It allowed me to make the room bigger. My goal to get one the sim to collect money by riding a car in the town, so when I took a drive on the town, I noticed that there is now a face on the "problem house". And now 23 sims live in that house.

I deleted everything on the lot, house, furniture, etc... And still have the problem, but I had one of my original sims go over to the new house and interact with one of the new ones and can now visit the house by clicking on the new sim through the friend list of that original sim, without adding more sims to visit the house. I was able to add a sim to an existing lot but have not tried with a new house.

I wish I at least had that problem instead of what I have now. I created a new sim house but it doesn't build. It's been at the same construction level for the last two days and every time I click the house, it quits me out of the whole app and resets my sims from what they are doing. I can't build anymore sims now.
