I just reached level 30 and the symbol to add another sim appeard, but the symbol isn't on the town map as there isn't really space for another house? Just wondering if anyone has more than 16 sims in their town?

I also just reached level 30 and leveled up with new sim. My newest task is asking me to add sim but there is no option to add another sim. I do see a empty space but it's not available - so not sure if it's for business or sim. The area is to the left of city hall (if your looking at the front of city hall) it's right in front of the two sims-There are a few trees on the lot. I'm so annoyed cause I can't go any further.

So, just keep doing tasks and move up levels without completing any tasks. I have tons LP and simeleons. I think my son killed a sim on his iPod and you can't get it back. The house is there and no sim that occupies the house, it doesn't give you the option to add another sim.

I had the same experience as you tonight. I just went to the Sims Freeplay page at ea.com and it says there are only 16 sims in this game. Bummer. Hope this helps.

I think the level 30 add a sim is for adding a baby not another adult

Level thirty is for adding babies. Get your sims in relationships then get them engaged moved in together and married and you can have babies

What you do is move two sims in with eachother then the house that is empty from the sim that moved it you demolish it, and when you reach level 30 you can then add more than 16 sims

I have 19 sims now plus a few babies .

I have 25 sims and I reached the level 30 and I unlock one sim but it isn't unaable to creat a new sim, why, can you help me?

Move the sims together so that you have a empty lot to add more sims

I am on level 30 also and if you remember, On the first update you can expand the town on level 32. If you do not believe look at the picture on google images.

The town limit is 21 sims. I had too many preteens and actually had to have some move out of town in order to keep building undeveloped homes. When you get to 21 sims it says sim limit reached. Do what the others said...make romantic partners that move in together, then add a baby, or add another adult in the vacated home.
