How do you get past the make a sim watch a movie at midnight goal? I tried right at midnight, before, after and nothing is working!!! Please help me with this! I've been stuck on it for like five days

I got past this by changing the time settings on my iPad to midnight. I've also used this trick since to speed up actions without using lifestyle points.

I was stuck on that goal for like 2 weeks- I just did this after reading all the answers, I had a sim watch a movie and then changed my time to exactly 12 am went back to the game and used lifestyle points to complete the movie and it worked.

I have the same problem. Ive been stuck on this goal for several days now. Ive tried changing the time settings too and it doesnt work. Please help.

I completed this goal last night. I had a Sim start the movie a little after 10:30pm and it was an hour and a half so a couple minutes after Midnight it was finished. I went to that sims house and the goal was met! I made all my sims watch movies and staggered them, but the first one I went to worked. He may have even finished before Midnight, but I went and checked after and was good.

I can do it. I change time in my iPhone is 11.55 PM , get sim watch a movie until 12.02PM so I use LP . Success ^^
