Achievements

It should be understood that despite the fact that Grand Theft Auto: online is a uniquely separate and very much distinct game from that of its retail box mate, rand Theft Auto 5, for obvious reasons the collection of Achievements / Trophies are mixed together.

Even though that is the case, particular care was taken by the teams to take care to designate which of the Achievements/Trophies are part of GTAO by including that fact in the official description.

The 17 Achievements listed below are for GTAO and are worth a total of 335G:

• Above the Law (80 G) Reach Rank 100.

  This Achievement is automatically unlocked as soon as your character reaches Rank 100.

• American Dream (10 G) Own an Apartment, Garage and an Insured Vehicle.

  While you cannot own both an Apartment/House and a Garage each of the Apartments or Houses that you can purchase have a Garage as part of them, so basically as long as you have followed the game prompts for play, you will have an Insured vehicle as part of the Tutorial, so as soon as you purchase your Apartment or House this Achievement will automatically unlock.

• Backseat Driver (10 G) Direct a driver to 1st place as co-driver in Rally Mode.

  Just like it sounds, you will need to serve as co-driver (really that means Navigator) for your mate for a Road Rally Race -- to do this effectively you will need to either use the headset-microphone in Party Mode with your partner or have some other form of verbal communication like Skype active and connecting you to each other so that you can tell them when to turn, which direction, and etc.

• Clean Sweep (10 G) Finish a Gang Attack without dying and kill at least 10 enemies.

  This is a lot harder than it sounds if you are relying upon doing this as a random pick-up game, however it is a LOT easier when you do it cooperatively, with members of your crew. Just saying.

• Crew Cut (5 G) Complete a Job as a member of a Crew.

  This will unlock automatically the first time that you complete a job after you have either joined a crew or started your own crew.

• Decorated (50 G) Earn 30 Platinum Awards.

  This will unlock over time, as you play the game, though it will be a LOT easier to unlock if you are making use of every game play element that is available and particularly the mini-games and co-op Events as well as sports, Jobs, and driving/racing.

• Dialing Digits (5 G) Call for gang backup for the first time.

  This is self explanatory and is an action you will do way more than once as you delve into that side of game play in GTA:O!

• Enjoy Your Stay (20 G) Participate in everything Los Santos has to offer.

  To unlock this Achievement all that you need to do is complete the following actions in your game, which are sort of divided between the stuff you will automatically do during he Tutorial phase, which basically includes the following: Get a haircut, get a tattoo, buy clothes, and hold up a store.

  Outside of the Tutorial you will also need to do the following actions: Pay for and enjoy a private dance at the Strip Club. Play Darts, Tennis, and gold, and then have yourself an Arm Wrestling match against one or more other players - you can do this with fellow crew. Lastly you will need to visit The Shooting Range (any Ammu-Nation with the Range Icon) and complete one Shooting Range challenge.

• Full Refund (10 G) Kill the thief that mugged you.

  For this one you will need to do as it says - kill the Thief that mugged you. Easy-Peasey!

• Making Moves (30 G) Reach Rank 50.

  This will unlock automatically as soon as your character reaches Rank 50.

• The Midnight Club (20 G) Use custom Vehicles to win 5 races.

  You will have to make a particular effort to unlock this by using your own vehicle for five races - but as you can start/host these yourself that will make it a lot easier. Note that these must be races Versus other real players.

• Numero Uno (20 G) Obtain first place in all competitive game types.

  This will unlock as a consequence of game play as you make your way to Rank 100 since you will eventually do everything by then, but FYI to unlock this you must win (come in first place) for each of the following game Activities: Air, Land, Sea, and GTA Races. Rally Race (this will only count if there is the minimum of FOUR players in the Rally Race).

  Gang Attack (you can do this alone or with crew); Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch; Make it through 10 waves of Survival. Arm Wrestling and Darts (Versus another human of course), and Golf (there is no specific number of holes required you just have to win but it must be against other human players). Tennis (again, this must be with another player, and it can be just a single set game). Parachuting (you can do this with as many players as you like you just have to have the highest score), and finally you need to win one of The Shooting Range challenges (any one will do, you just have to win it).

• Off the Plane (5 G) Complete the Introduction.

  You will unlock this automatically when you first play the game.

• Run Like The Wind (20 G) Survive for a day with a Bounty on your head.

  This can either be boosted (have a crew member put a Bounty on you) or you can end up with a bounty on you because you robbed a store or made an NPC angry enough at you to place one on you... Once you have a bounty on you, you can just hang out at your flat for one in-game day if you like, or just keep playing as long as you don't die and have the bounty collected.

• Stick Up Kid (10 G) Hold up all 20 Stores.

  There are a total of twenty Stores marked on the map as Stick Up Activities. As you rob each it gets ticked so you will easily be able to tell which you still need to hold up to get this...

• Three-Bit Gangster (10 G) Reach Rank 25.

  This Unlocks automatically as soon as your character reaches this Rank in the game.

• Unnatural Selection (20 G) Complete all 10 waves of a Survival.

  This is just what it sounds like - and is one of the more difficult Achievements to unlock. We recommend you boost this with three of your crew mates.

While the majority of these will unlock as a consequence of playing the game, some of them may require you to boost them with your mates if you are going to unlock them.
