I've purified all the shadow Pokemon today and now I'm just wondering, what happens next, is that all there is to the game?

No, there is always the Orre Colosseum and the quest for the Lucky Egg once you finish the first round of Orre Colosseum. Beluh (the old lady in Agate Village) will send you an email. You can also train at Mt. Battle and the other Colosseums. Battle Bingo is also a choice if you're really bored as it isn't much to do.

Well you can complete the mt battle and each time you complete it from 1 to 100 (you can save in-between obviously) you get a jhoto starter that knows a elemental hyper beam so totodile with hydro cannon, chikorita with frenzy plant and cyndaquile with blust burn and they are at level 5
