how to @#&* trade from emerald to pokemon xd

I've beaten the game 10 times went to phenac city and tried to trade from my Pokemon emerald to Pokemon xd it didnt do anything there was a waiting sign on my gameboy advance sp and there was a sign of a purple gameboy shaking!!!I NEED HELP ASAP

You may have Pokemon that are not recognized by one of the games,such as a dark Pokemon from Xd that you can't get onto Emerald. It does this with the older games. Make sure you have the Pokemon that are compatible with both games in each others inventories and then try to trade.

You sure that the cord is working, the game is turned on after the XD file is waiting for a trade, or some Pokemon aren't allowed in XD or your GBA game, like eggs, or shadow pokemon.

You need a cord and put it in propobly and you need to be in apokemon center anywhere.

Iight first you select Pokemon that you want to trade then on emerald you save at a Pokemon center with the Pokemon you want to trade,in xd you cannot trade shadow Pokemon you have to purify them first then you go to the Pokemon center in phenac city then you make sure you have the right trading cord then wants you save and you see the gamecube and gameboy you turn on you're gameboy thats why you save at a Pokemon center

I need help I can't trade from emerald to xd gale of darkness it says it was not saved properly I have done everything when I look at my gba it says save file has been deleted what do I do
